Mallory Simonis
6th Grade Teacher

Mallory Simonis enjoys connecting students with reading. She believes that learning how characters in books solve their problems may help students overcome real-life challenges.

Mrs. Simonis, born in Lake Forest, Illinois, was raised in Coopersville, Michigan. She attended the Coopersville Public Schools from first through twelfth grade and excelled at cross country running during high school. Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) noticed Mallory’s athletic ability and recruited her. Mallory met her husband, John, while attending CUW. She graduated in 2008 with a double major in English and Secondary Education.

Mallory began her teaching career at Lutheran South Academy in Houston, Texas. She also worked as a writing consultant for various public schools throughout Texas. After eight years in Houston, God called the Simonis family to Trinity Lutheran School.

Here at Trinity, Mrs. Simonis teaches English language arts in grades five through eight and coaches cross country and track. John and Mallory’s daughter, Diana, attends Trinity School.

Mallory enjoys traveling very much, taking every opportunity to learn about new places and people. The Simonis family loves life in the Midwest.

Mallory appreciates God’s promise in Micah 4:4.

Everyone will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make him afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.
