Lisa Lendvay
Lunchroom Staff
Lisa Ann Lendvay serves Trinity as an assistant in the lunch program and in the school office. Born in Chicago Heights and growing up in Des Plaines, Illinois, Lisa attended Oakton Community College where she studied Business.
Lisa and her family were members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Des Plaines. She and Mark Lendvay were married there in 1992. Mrs. Lendvay reports that the location of her home church on Lake Opeka offers the unique experience of enjoying beautiful Lake Park after services. Golfing, boating, picnicking . . . it all sounds good!
Lisa and Mark moved to Bartlett, Illinois, where they started a family. In 1998 they moved to Washington, DC. There they joined St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and also had the privilege of regularly attending services at the National Cathedral.
Lisa and her husband have three children (Megan, Nicole, and Nathan) who were born in three separate states (Illinois, Virginia, and Wisconsin). Lisa remembers the religious high points of each child’s baptism, in three different churches, and of Megan’s first communion at the National Cathedral on Easter Sunday.
Lisa is guided by her favorite Bible verse, John 3:16.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
