Amanda Weil enjoys sharing God’s love with young children in her classroom and everywhere else she may meet them.

Amanda was born and raised in West Allis, Wisconsin, and attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School from pre-K through eighth grade. From there she went to Martin Luther High School and continued her education at Concordia University Wisconsin, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Amanda has also earned a master’s degree in Special Education.

At the beginning of her career, Ms. Weil taught for one year at West Park Lutheran in Cleveland, Ohio, and then for five years at Immanuel Lutheran in Marshfield, Wisconsin. After that she accepted God’s call to Trinity Lutheran in Racine, where she teaches second grade. Besides her classroom duties, Amanda coordinates amazing pep rallies, coaches volleyball, and leads our annual Mini Course/Interest Day event.

In her spare time, Amanda loves to watch sports and hang out with friends. She’s a big fan of the Packers, the Brewers, the Badgers, and, not surprisingly, of her former students. She often shows up to cheer for them at their own games.

Amanda looks to Proverbs 3:5-6 for direction.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
